#1 Tomorrowland in number:

400,000 people at its 2017 edition.

 

2 million people try each year to buy a ticket; "Dreamville" (the campsite) accommodates 35,000 places on 45 hectares;

 

The festival generates 700 direct and indirect jobs and 70 million euros of cash entry for the region (hotel night, miscellaneous expenses, taxes, transport, etc.)

 

In 2012, 120 special flights were organised by Brussels Airlines to bring in festival-goers of more than 200 different nationalities; Nearly 400 international DJ's take turns on the festival's 16 stages today.

#2 There was a time when it was free:

To create buzz in its first year of creation (2005), the organizers had distributed free pass to Belgians in the region where the festival take place(Boom Belgium). A free date with DJs like Chuckie, Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten... The dream?

#3  The 2013 edition was sold out in 1 seconde.

In 2009, two festival-goers suffered laser-induced eye lesions. The company in charge of the show was found responsible.
